Glenn Brown MMSC, PT, DPT, MMSC, ATC, SCS has been in clinical practice for over 30 years as a physical therapist and athletic trainer and has been Sports Certified Specialist since 1993. Dr. Brown obtained his physical therapy degree from the University of Delaware in 1984 while simultaneously satisfying the requirements to become a certified athletic trainer. In 1991 he obtained a Masters of Medical Science Degree in orthopedic Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In addition to his many accolades, Dr. Brown’s desire for lifelong learning led him to attain his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2019.
As a former baseball player at the collegiate level and son of a former professional player he has been actively involved in baseball since early youth as a player. Additionally, he has coached at the youth, high school and collegiate levels and his clinical practice has regularly included working with the throwing athlete. As a clinician he has worked with athletes in all sports from youth to professional and Olympic level. As the father of four athletic children, three having played women’s college soccer, he has worked extensively with his children’s’ teams for performance enhancement as well as the prevention and management of injury. His passion for working with youth athletes stem from his own personal experiences with career limiting shoulder injury in baseball.

Robert Price, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMT, TPI Certified is a graduate from Utica College of Syracuse. He graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 and has been a member of the Dover community since that time. Dr. Price spent his first five years practicing under expert clinicians exploring a multitude of approaches which led to an eclectic treatment model. He now holds an advanced certification as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists (FAAOMPT). His area is specialty is the management of spinal related conditions. Dr. Price is also Titleist Performance Institute Certified creating a “body swing connection” which is particularly useful in the treatment of back pain is golfers. Other areas of specialty include the rehabilitation of dancer’s and treatment of the archery athletes. Rob’s wife, Kimberly Price, owns and operates En Pointe Studio and is an asset as a consultant with a bachelor’s degree in dance from Towson University.

Katherine Monahan, PT, DPT, ITPT, COMT graduated valedictorian of University of Delaware’s physical therapy doctoral program. She is a native to Dover, graduating from Dover High School, and returned following graduation from the physical therapy program. As a dancer and performer since age 2, she has a particular interest in rehabilitation for performing arts. She since has also developed an interest in concussion and vestibular disorders. In addition to being an ImPACT Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT), Katie is certified by the American Institute of Balance for concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. Dr. Monahan’s desire to provide high quality manual treatments has also led her to obtain certification as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and is trained with functional dry needling according to Kinetacore principles. She uses these skills to integrate manual therapy with specific activities to maximize recovery.

Rachel Daniels, PT, DPT, AIB-VR, ATC/L is a graduate of Mary Baldwin University’s Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences physical therapy doctoral program. Dr. Daniels is a certified athletic trainer and holds her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Bridgewater College. While studying at Bridgewater College, Rachel worked closely with several athletic teams including men’s lacrosse and women’s field hockey. This background gave Rachel a sincere interest in the rehabilitation process for concussions. Rachel has gone on to become vestibular and concussion rehab certified through the American Institute of Balance, closely tying into a certification and further education with concussions. With rigorous hands-on training, Rachel closely ties manual therapy, education, and functional activities and exercises together to help patients recover and return to their everyday activities, sports, and recreation.

Nicholas Gruwell, PT, DPT, MS, OCS is a graduate from University of Delaware’s physical therapy doctoral program. Dr. Gruwell also completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware and obtained his Master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy and Health Science. He is a native of Camden-Wyoming, graduating from Caesar Rodney High School, and is excited to return to the great community he grew up in. Dr. Gruwell has a desire to further his knowledge and will be pursuing his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Certification. He has been a lifelong athlete, focusing on soccer and lacrosse, and believes in a combination of manual therapy and individualized functional exercise to assist patients in achieving their personal goals. Nick is Titleist Performance Institute Certified which is a systematic approach to remove physical barriers from the golf swing to enhance performance.

Emalie Lawson, PT, DPT, is a graduate of Trine University of Indiana. Dr. Lawson has a Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Studies and a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance from Randolph College of Virginia. Emalie is a life long resident of Delaware and is an alum of Dover High School. Dr. Lawson strives to make meaningful connections with her patients to foster healing and community through hands-on physical therapy. She plans to further her education in order to better connect with her patients.
Emalie has a life long passion for dance starting at age three with the Delaware Ballet. She plans to focus on dance rehabilitation to further that passion. Emalie also has a variety of interests including crochet, reading, hiking, and finding new hobbies!

Chas Barker, PT, DPT, GCS, OCS, CEEAA, CMTPT, is a lifelong Delawarean and a graduate of Smyrna High School. In 2012, he graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. Dr. Barker is a dual board-certified geriatric clinical specialist and orthopaedic clinical specialist. He is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a Certified Expert in Exercise for Aging Adults through the APTA’s Academy of Geriatrics, and a credentialed practitioner of dry needling. On the state level, he has served as a secretary and house delegate for the Delaware Physical Therapy Association. He also provided consultation for the State of Delaware’s Addiction Action Committee where he advocated for cost-effective, non-pharmacologic interventions to treat chronic pain. Over the years, he has worked in multiple clinical settings including hospitals, home health, and outpatient clinics. As a clinician, Dr. Barker has significant experience with rehabilitation of injured runners. He is also interested in preventative services for older adults, conservative treatment for chronic pain, promotion of longevity through exercise interventions, novel ways to deliver healthcare services, and fall prevention services. You might find it interesting to know that Dr. Barker once agreed to (and completed) a 50-mile ultramarathon with one of his patients. That is how committed this guy is to helping his patients achieve their goals, but please do not expect him to run another 50-mile race any time soon.
