Glenn Brown, PT, DPT, MMSC, ATC, SCS
Co-Owner | Sports Physical Therapist | Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist

Dr. Glenn Brown is the co-owner of CORE Physical Therapy and has more than 30 years of experience as a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer. A Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) since 1993, he has worked with athletes of all ages, from youth sports to collegiate, professional, and Olympic competition.

Dr. Brown earned his physical therapy degree from the University of Delaware while simultaneously completing the requirements to become a Certified Athletic Trainer. He later earned a Master of Medical Science in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy from Emory University and completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019.

A former collegiate baseball player and the son of a professional baseball player, Dr. Brown has spent a lifetime in athletics. He has coached baseball at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels, provides baseball-specific instruction, and has extensive experience treating overhead athletes. His clinical interests also include sports rehabilitation, shoulder and elbow injuries, knee injuries, foot and ankle conditions, postoperative rehabilitation, injury prevention, and return-to-sport testing.

His passion for sports medicine was shaped by his own career-limiting shoulder injury, giving him a unique appreciation for the physical and emotional challenges athletes face during recovery. As the father of four athletic children, including three collegiate soccer players, Dr. Brown understands the commitment athletes and their families make to competition and enjoys helping patients safely return to the activities they love.

Robert Price, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT
Co-Owner | Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist | Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists

Dr. Robert Price is the co-owner of CORE Physical Therapy and has proudly served the Dover community since earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College in 2009.

Committed to advancing his clinical expertise, Dr. Price is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Fellowship training represents the highest level of post-professional clinical education in orthopedic manual physical therapy and reflects advanced expertise in the evaluation, clinical reasoning, and treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr. Price treats patients of all ages with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, from acute injuries and postoperative rehabilitation to chronic pain and movement dysfunction. He believes successful rehabilitation begins by understanding the body as an interconnected system, identifying the true source of a patient’s symptoms, and developing an individualized treatment plan that restores movement, improves performance, and helps patients return to the activities they love.

In addition to orthopedic rehabilitation, Dr. Price is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified and enjoys working with golfers to improve the connection between their body and swing. His clinical interests also include the rehabilitation of dancers and competitive archers. Together with his wife, Kimberly, owner of En Pointe Studio, he has helped many dancers safely return to performance while reducing the risk of future injury.

Rachel Daniels, PT, DPT, AIB-VR, ATC/L
Vestibular & Concussion Rehabilitation | Certified Athletic Trainer

Dr. Rachel Daniels earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences at Mary Baldwin University after completing her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at Bridgewater College. As a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC/L), she developed a strong foundation in the evaluation and rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports-related injuries while working with collegiate athletic programs.

Dr. Daniels has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management through the American Institute of Balance (AIB-VR). Her clinical interests include dizziness, vertigo, balance disorders, concussion rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, neurologic rehabilitation, and orthopedic conditions. She enjoys helping patients regain their confidence, improve their mobility, and safely return to work, sports, and the activities they enjoy most.

Rachel combines hands-on treatment, patient education, and individualized exercise programs to create personalized plans of care for each patient. Her goal is to help every patient move better, feel better, and achieve their personal goals.

Emalie Lawson, PT, DPT
Orthopedic Rehabilitation | Dance Medicine | Pilates-Based Rehabilitation

Dr. Emalie Lawson earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Trine University after completing both a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Randolph College. A lifelong Delaware resident and Dover High School graduate, she is passionate about serving the community she calls home.

Dr. Lawson believes meaningful connections are the foundation of exceptional care. She combines hands-on treatment, individualized exercise, and patient education to help patients recover from injury, improve movement, and return to the activities they enjoy most. She is currently completing her comprehensive Pilates certification to further expand her expertise in movement analysis, rehabilitation, and performance.

Dance has been a part of Emalie’s life since the age of three, when she began training with the Delaware Ballet. Her background as both a dancer and physical therapist gives her a unique perspective in the rehabilitation of dancers, while her orthopedic training allows her to successfully treat patients of all ages and activity levels.

Outside the clinic, Emalie enjoys reading, hiking, crocheting, and is always eager to learn a new hobby.

Chas Barker, PT, DPT, GCS, OCS, CEEAA, CMTPT
Dual Board-Certified Clinical Specialist | Dry Needling | Healthy Aging & Running Rehabilitation

Dr. Chas Barker earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Delaware in 2012 and is a lifelong Delawarean and graduate of Smyrna High School.

Dr. Barker is dual board-certified as both an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS), reflecting advanced expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and the care of older adults. He is also a credentialed dry needling practitioner, a Certified Expert in Exercise for Aging Adults (CEEAA), and a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Throughout his career, Dr. Barker has worked in hospital, home health, and outpatient settings, giving him a broad perspective on patient care. His clinical interests include dry needling, rehabilitation of injured runners, chronic pain, healthy aging, fall prevention, and helping patients maintain active, independent lifestyles through exercise.

Outside the clinic, Chas enjoys distance running and even completed a 50-mile ultramarathon alongside one of his patients. While he says he has no plans to run another 50-miler, the experience reflects his commitment to helping patients achieve goals they once thought were out of reach.

Sydney Graves, PT, DPT
Orthopedic Rehabilitation | Sports Rehabilitation

Dr. Sydney Graves began her career with CORE Physical Therapy in 2020 as a physical therapy technician while pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Western Kentucky University. After earning her doctorate, she returned to the team as a physical therapist, continuing to serve the community where she was born and raised. Dr. Graves holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Arcadia University and is a proud graduate of Dover High School.

As a former high school and collegiate field hockey and lacrosse athlete, Sydney developed a passion for sports rehabilitation and helping active individuals recover from injury. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and values building strong relationships with her patients while creating individualized treatment plans that help them return to the activities they enjoy most.

During physical therapy school, Sydney broadened her perspective by studying abroad at the University of Stirling in Scotland and completed clinical rotations in both acute care and collegiate athletics, further strengthening her well-rounded approach to patient care.

Outside the clinic, Sydney enjoys reading, indoor rock climbing, and traveling. She is committed to lifelong learning and providing exceptional care to every patient she treats.
